Monthly Wrap Up May 2020 // NEW BLOG!

This post is linked to The Sunday Post, hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer & The Monthly Wrap Up hosted by Feed Your Fiction Addiction.

Well, isn’t this ironic?

After being a book blogger for 5 years – then went to start a Lifestyle blog – I am back with a blog for JUST books again?

It’s like I can’t make up my mind, or something.

Silliness aside, I did this for MANY reasons, and while it has been a pain in my ass to move my content over to this blog, it was the right move!

Are you wondering what that means for THIS blog, and my other blog, Vivacious Bibliphile?

Well, book content, such as reviews, wrap-up posts, book lists, and blogging tips will be posted here! My other blog is going to be just for wellness & relationships with a tad of lifestlye thrown in.

And honestly, that may change within the year If I decide to create yet another blog.

That being, let’s get into the fun stuff.

monthly wrap up may

You may have noticed that this post being posted rather late in the month – and that is because I muted myself on social media for the week due to the events happening here in the US.

My heart is just broken because of what is happening. I’ve been using this time educating my friends & family and learning more myself.

I am looking for more Black bloggers, artists, creators to support and amplify. Please share links below.

What I’ve Been Reading

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder was simply FANTASTIC. I highly recommend the audiobook, as it has a full cast narration.

Cure of Die was the 3rd book in the Damaged Goods series. It wasn’t as good at the other two, but. If you love cozy mysteries, definitely pick this up!

I haven’t decided how to handle my Bloglovin account. The majority of my initial followers were for my book blog – so I might just change the name and link on my existing account? What do you think?

Looks like you’ve got some good books to read – a necessity when trying to avoid some of the drama of social media. In the 18 years I’ve had my blog, it’s now come around to almost all books. LOL Things are always changing, aren’t they? Thanks for sharing 🙂

      18 that’s awesome!

Yeah, I started with books, and then combined it all, and then needed to branch out again so I didn’t have so much in once space. It’s a lot of work but I hope it’ll pay off!

Best of luck with your blogging. I appreciate all your hard work to bring your readers quality posts. I took a look at the books I’ve read and loved in 2020, and it turns out my favorites have been by black authors, something I never really paid attention to before.
